Saint Gerard speaks

Consider the shortness of time, the length of eternity and reflect how everything here below comes to an end and passes by. Of what use is it to lean upon that which cannot give support?

Welcome

This is a new site dedicated to Saint Gerard Majella, who was born in 1726 and died in 1755.

He was a Redemptorist lay brother who performed many miracles during his life and far beyond. He is often referred to as the Wonder-worker. In 1904 Gerard was honoured with sainthood. Since then his intercession is requested for children (born and unborn), childbirth, mothers (expectant mothers in particular), motherhood, falsely accused people, good confessions and lay brothers.

On this page you can read about his life, his miracles and devotions throughout the world. In the life of many Catholics Saint Gerard Majella is still very much alive. As the saying goes, God is Wonderful in His Saints!
